Euro RSCG Worldwide creates an event division

The communication groups are getting into the event market, a trend that we have mentioned in eventos Magazine “special agencies” (Issue no. 4) and confirmed in our market study 2007 (Issue no. 10). After Publicis’ strong entry in the event market with Publicis Events, Euro RSCG Worldwide has just announced the creation of Euro RSCG Worldwide Events, its international network dedicated to events,.
This new structure will be supported by the group’s offices present in 75 countries, and will have a European hub in Paris, an American hub in New York, a latin-american hub in Sao Paulo and an asian hub in Beijing. According to the company, the large international projects in development will be in Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
In an interview with Grupo eventoplus, Gerard Askinazi, CEO of Euro RSCG Worldwide Events comments, “Spain is a priority for us. This year, we will have a Euro RSCG Worldwide Events agency in Barcelona, which will be a department in one of the existing agencies of the group in Spain. It will work closely with Euro RSCG Life. Today many agencies of the group organise and coordinate events for the clients of the group. Euro RSCG Worldwide Events will coordinate all this network, offering an event organisation service to all our international clients.”
