The Spanish Institute for International Research (IIR) registered a billing of 12 million Euros in 2006, an 8% more compared to the previous year. The forecasts for 2007, which the Institute celebrates its 20th anniversary, point to “similar growth levels obtained as in 2006”, according to the company.

During the last year, IIR Spain organised 500 meetings with the collaboration of more than 600 professionals as speakers and instructors and 8,000 executives. For this year, it forecasts a growth of 20% in event production.

In 2005 IIR merged with T&F, creating Informa PLC, company that provides event organisation, management training and specialising publications. With 7,500 employees, Informa PLC is present in 43 countries with 150 offices.
