After the success of the first edition in 2006, Grupo eventoplus is calling for entries for the second edition of the Premios eventoplus, the awards for the event and meeting sector. The awards give recognition to the excellence in the industry and award the best professionals in Spain.
To be highlighted in this edition is the new “Best Responsible Event” category that will award an event with a social or environmental impact. The awards have 13 categories in addition to the Grand Jury Award. The jury consists of professionals from the sector, with the majority being event organisers in large companies, and also representatives from institutions in the industry.
The awards Gala is the networking event for Spanish event industry (500 professionals were present at the Palau de Congressos de Catalunya in July 2006). Premios eventoplus is also an incentive in the professionalisation of the sector, recognising the best initiatives and the most outstanding professionals, as well as to communicate best practices.
This second edition expects more entries than the previous edition (102), and the presence of 800 professionals in the Gala event. In addition, the award presentation will be held in Madrid, strengthening the national character of these awards.
