EFAPCO holds their 2nd General Assembly in Athens

On the 7th December, the European Federation of Professional Congress Organisation Companies (EFAPCO), held their second General Assembly in the Helexpo Palace in Athens, which was attended by members and associates of the federation.
EFAPCO also celebrated in Athens their second Annual Congress with 136 European professionals in the meetings industry, and where topics discussed included the importance of the role of PCOs, and the need to establish a definition and regulation of their activity in the European Union.
The Congress was attended by the President of IMEX Ray Bloom and Paul Kennedy, President of Reed Travel Exhibitions, as well as managers of hotel chains such as Hilton and Starwood, among other professionals in the meetings industry.
The third General Assembly of EFAPCO will take place in Warsaw (Poland) in January 2008.
