Livingston, European providor of IT solutions for events, has signed a contract with the FIFA (International Federation of Associated Football) to offer technical support in the World Cup 2006 in Germany. Livingston will provide 1,410 portable computers and 350 plasma monitors in the stadiums where the sports event will be held.

Livingston will provide technical support with software and images in the twelve stadiums where the Cup takes place, as well as in VIP rooms and ticket areas. The company will also provide laptops and wireless cards to the Brasil, United States, Argentina and Saudi Arabia selections in their headquarters.

Livingston has a website (www.vm.tv) to offer technical support for organisers of small and big events held during the World Cup in Germany (between 9 June and 9 July).

The company has become official partner of the FIFA.
