The Tarragona congress and exhibition centre celebrated 89 events in 2005, 6 more than in 2004; among which 7 congresses had between 250 and 800 delegates, 5 specialised exhibitions, 42 meetings or work sessions and 10 gala dinners, among others. During the 155 days of occupation, the centre received more than 85,000 visitors.
The estimated economic impact of the events held in the centre in 2005 is more 3 million Euros.
This year the centre has already confirmed the 8 congresses and 9 exhibitions; of which 6 are organised by the centre. In 2007, 7 congresses have been confirmed while 2 large congresses will take place in 2008 and 2009 which will occupy the entire of the centre.
