Turisme de Catalunya will participate in more than 80 trade shows in 2006

This year, Turisme de Catalunya will be participating in more than 80 countries, ensuring that the presence of the Catalan tourism sector in the main international shows, among which are ITB in Berlin, WTM in London or MITT in Moscow, as well as national shows such as FITUR in Madrid, Expovacaciones in Bilbao or the SITC in Barcelona.
Catalonia will be participating for the first time, in 14 of these trade shows, such as the Sea Trade Cruise Shipping, that will be held in March in Miami, The Outdoor Show, dedicated to active tourism in Birmingham, also held during the month of March, City Breaks in Helsinki in June.
Turisme de Catalunya will be attending 24 national and 59 international meetings. Germany, Benelux, France, Hungary, Italy, Belorussia, Georgia, Ukraine, Denmark, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Ireland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, China are some of the programmed destinations.
With respect to the theme, Turisme de Catalunya will be present in a total of 34 specialised shows, presenting the majority of the tourism offer: golf, sailing, snow, culture, touring by bicycle, health, meetings, rural, active, family, sports and luxury.
