Nacho Fernando has been elected by the members of the Spanish chapter of the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives (SITE), the international incentive travel association as its acting president.
Nacho Fernando, from the Madrid-based destination management company, Creatur, assumed the position during a special meeting held during EIBTM in Barcelona. Fernando is expected to be confirmed as president when SITE Spain holds its annual general meeting in 2005.
Many SITE Spain members and several international representatives were present the meeting, including CEO Brenda Anderson, vice president of Industry Relations, Hugo Slimbrouck and Chapter Leadership Council chair, Carolyn Dow.
With more than 31 members, SITE Spain is part of the society’s global network of 29 chapters.
