In June this year, Reed Travel Exhibitions launched the Latin America and Caribbean Incentive and Meetings Exhibition (LACIME) in response to a growing demand from buyers and suppliers from within the region and beyond.
In its first year, LACIME 2004 welcomed exhibiting organisations from all over Latin America and the Caribbean, in addition to U.S. and Canadian DMC’s, CVB’s and Tourist Boards from European countries such as Spain, France and the UK and global corporate giants like Continental Airlines, South African Airways, British Airways, Hilton, InterContinental, Marriott, Starwood, Sol Group, Carnival, Silversea and NCL.
Now in its second year, LACIME 2005 will bring over 3,200 meetings and incentive buyers mainly from Latin America, together with more than 250 exhibiting organizations and from both regional and international destinations. LACIME ensures quality and success through its tailored Hosted Buyer campaign and pre-scheduled appointments programme adopted from its sister events EIBTM in Europe and AIME in Australia.
