The large manufacturers of buses and coaches who operate in an international market will be in Madrid for the FIAA, the second most important European dates of the sector, which will be open on Wednesday, 13th October, by the General Secretary of Transportation, Fernando Palau.
The show, organised by the Feria de Madrid, from the 13th to the 16th of October, will bring together the presence of the most prestigious companies of coachbuilders, lead by the Spanish industry, one of the most important in the world.
The bus and coach industry registered in Spain, during the year 2003, an increase of 5.2% in its production, with a total of 1,502 vehicles made. 60% (934 unit) were exported to international markets, in which the exterior sales registered a 2.5% growth. The vehicles registered increased to 3,278 units with a 4.2% increment with respect to the previous year.
