The idea was to take advantage of the exterior of the museum, its gardens and, above all, the facade to surprise attendees. It was conceived a show on its facade, but the National Heritage organism limited the possibility to make a typical vertical dance show, which forced to give a second thought and look for an alternative.
Creartys’ proposal was to have its Shining Drummers, combining percussion, LED costumes, special effects and acting. The artists would perform the show on the balconies of the facade. Five of them with their futuristic costumes and located on different floors of the museum, made their appearance on several of the balconies of the building, starting a show of batucada and lights in high contrast with the neo-Renaissance style of the facade.
Then the five characters, synchronized in group, advanced towards the gardens making their appearance from both sides of the building to get back together in the center of the space and culminate the closing of the show.
Likewise, during the cocktail the artists wandered among the guests to pose and take pictures with them, before starting the party animated by a tandem of saxophonist and DJ.
