Companies have traditionally opted for solutions based on adrenaline to foster a sense of belonging and motivation in its teams, but now other options emerge following the trends of wellness, anti-stress and spirituality... DMC Galicia proposes the Camino de Santiago for corporate groups, an experience of medieval pilgrimage in the XXI century...

The proposal of DMC Galicia consists in walking around five hours a day, in the morning, getting to know the landscape and the Galician culture. The evenings could be free or kept for a leisure activity (`workaholics´ can also rent a meeting room); people are hosted in `pazos´ (typical Galician houses) or farmhouses located at key points along the way.

To stimulate the morning activity, along the way characters related to the history of Galicia appear on the road. An example: a medieval knight of the Order of Santiago welcomes delegates to the Pilgrim´s Route and Gallaecia Christian West´s oldest kingdom, and then he makes an introduction to the history and the magic behind the oldest and busiest route the old continent. He explains the ancient tradition of pilgrimage in the Codex Calixtino and he gives a copy of a cane and the typical shell.

As leisure activities during the afternoons, there are different options: tasting local pies or octopus, tasting wine or local cheeses, or prepare a “conxuro of queimada”…
