The craft is experiencing a revival, especially as an activity of incentives and conferences. DYC Distilleries offer a journey through the process of making whiskey. A possibility that even in the distilleries in Scotland is difficult to find.
Founded in 1958, DYC factory is in Palazuelos de Eresma, Segovia, in an enclosure surrounded by nature. During the tour, participants will learn the secrets of this spirit that the Scots called uisge beatha (water of life) and analyze the various phases of the production of whiskey: the choice of the grain, the roasting, processing into liquid.
The structure provides spaces for work groups, corporate events and cocktail parties in its rooms and in its garden. Finally, the tour will culminate with a tasting to learn to differentiate between the different elements that make up the drink, an experience to enjoy the five senses.
