The Spanish Association of Exhibition Marketing (AIMFE) sued the Barcelona trade show authority (Fira de Barcelona), for unfair competition.

In the previous years, Fira broadened its services to include catering, standbuilding, furniture, logistics… and, according to AIMFE, gave unfair advantages to its subsidiary managing these services (early information, longer setup time, etc.), resulting in unfair competition.
