Cologne 2001, Berlin 2003, Barcelona 2005... Berlin 2009. Barcelona just lost the game, as the most important urban fashion fair in Europe, Bread&Butter, returns to Berlin.

This fashion fair has taken place in Barcelona for more than three years, leaving more than 100 million euros each time. But the offer it received from Berlin, which has given it the historic Tempelhof airport, located in the heart of the city and not operating anymore for air traffic. The fair organisation also received offers from Moscow and Istanbul.

This winter edition 2009, from 21th to 23th January, will be the last edition in Barcelona. The show theme of this edition is “United Nations of Bread & Butter” which honours the 105 countries that were in the July edition.
