The association ICCA is preparing its yearly congress, due to be held from 1 al 5 of November 2008 in Victoria, Canada, with an important Iberian presence.

The Iberian group will be led by Juan José García (president of the Iberian chapter and sales manager of Viajes Iberia Congresos and Maria da Graça Luís, vice-president and head of MICE at the Madeira Convention Bureau. Juan José García will give a session together with André Vietor (managing director of Viajes Iberia Congresos) about “Glorious Failure”: How to Profit from Lost Bids”, an innovative way of analysing key success factors in bid processes.

The activity of the ICCA Iberian Chapter and its dynamism led Reed Travel Exhitibions to involve the chapter in the Spanish educational programme of the EIBTM 2008 show.
