The Palacio de Congresos de Valencia celebrates its 10th anniversary with solar energy

A green gift for the 10th anniversary of the Valencia Congress Centre: a photovoltaic system on their 8,200 m2 roof makes the venue the first such building that takes this level of environmental measures, according to the company.
The system, which does not change the design by Norman Foster, includes 2106 photovoltaic modules which can generate 379,875 kwh of electricity a year. All these digits mean that on 18th September 2009, the venue will have avoided the generation of 335,726 kg of CO2.
